Norwegian Institute of Marine Reaseach and Russian PINRO have published reports on the state of the Barents Sea ecosystem since 2006 based on joint monitoring of the ecosystem under the framework of the Joint Russian-Norwegian Fishery commission. The scope of the report was extended in the report published in 2009 with more scientific institutions involved

including russian company SEVMORGEO, and more focus on pollution, human activities and with considerations for environmental mangement of the Barents Sea, and under the framework of the joint fishery commission  and the Joint Norwegian-Russian Environmental Commission. The reporting continued with a limited focus on specific ecosystem components and themes between 2009 to 2015, when a new complete report (as for the report published in 2009) was published.

Please find PDF files of all report in the list below (the 2015 complete report as a PDF file will be published here soon).
